Viro increased net profit by 28.56 percent in the first 3Q

Zagreb, October 28, 2011 – In the first nine months this year, Viro Sugar Factory realized net profit in the amount of HRK 40.38 million, which is 28.56 percent more in comparison to the same period last year. Total revenues in compared period increased by 14.39 percent and amounted to HRK 584.37 million.
Total expenses amounted to HRK 546.26 million which presents the increase of 13.94 percent in comparison to the first nine months of 2010.
In this year's sugar beet campaign, Viro plans to process 570.000 tons of sugar beet in order to produce 85,000 tons of sugar, 22,000 tons of molasses and 23.000 tons of dry beet pulp on pellets form. Also, Viro plans to process 51.296 tons of sugar based on cane raw sugar in order to produce 48,484 tons of sugar and 2,645 tons of molasses.
Total planned sugar production for 2011 amounts to somewhat more than 133.000 tons of sugar.
At the end of September 2011 price of Viro's share amounted to HRK 410. During the first nine months share turnover amounted to HRK 51,951,079.61, while market capitalization in the same period totaled HRK 568.5 million. Profit per share amounted to HRK 29.12. |
