Viro sugar factory employed 185 workers at the end of 2014. Most of the workers have permanent contracts. Due to higher demand for workforce during sugar production campaign, each year Viro employs workers with temporary contracts. All workers have written contracts and are employed in Virovitica. Most of them do the work in the factory, while several employees of the Raw Materials Sector work outside factory premises, checking sub-contractors and sugar beet depots.
We have a standard practice of employing local population, except in the cases when employees of required knowledge and skills are not available in the local community.
