Zagreb, May 29, 2008 – Viro sugar factory was awarded as Industrial Share of the Year in the food and drugs sector for the second year in a row. Successful business operations and market share increase to 66% on the Croatian market, halal certificate and ending the certification process for Coca-Cola supplier in Croatia and CEE contributed to the interest for Viro shares. At the end of 2007, share price amounted to 1,625 kuna, i.e. 144% higher that at the end of 2006. Turnover surpassed 621 million kuna, while market capitalization was higher than 2 billion kuna. As one of the most liquid shares on Croatian capital market, Viro share was included in Crobex stock index.
