| Virovitica, March 12, 2008 - Viro sugar factory awarded its best subcontractors with “Golden sugar beet” award for the fourth time.
Belje from Darda won the “Golden sugar beet” in the category of cultivators with more than 1000 acres of farmland. Nenad Marčec was the winner in the category of cultivators with more than 100 acres, while Sjemenska kultura from Klisa and Poljoprivreda from Lipik won the “Golden sugar beet” in the category of cultivators with more than 50 acres of farmland. Milan Šokac was the awarded cultivator with farmland larger than 10 acres.
Hungarian cultivator Petofi TSL from Szalkszentmaton was awarded with “Golden sugar beet” for the highest-quality sugar beet. PP Orahovica, Artos from Lukač, Diba from Suhopolje and Prmex-Consulting KFT from Balatonfenyvesa, Hungary, were awarded for long term successful cooperation.
